Vancouver-Based Executive Hotels & Resorts Announces Donation to BC Women’s Hospital
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwired – May 6, 2014) – Executive Hotels & Resorts is supporting the BC Women’s Hospital NICU campaign by donating $200,000 to the BC Women’s Hospital. The Sayani family, which started the hotel chain now comprised of 15 properties across North America, has a very personal connection with the Hospital as Farida and Noordin Sayani’s granddaughters were born premature and stayed in the NICU for the first few weeks of their lives until they were ready to go home.
Farida is a member of the BC Women’s Hospital cabinet committee headed by Tamara Taggard. She further supports the campaign by creating awareness and raising funds through the chain’s various hotels. A cross section of the chain’s guests, patrons, associates and suppliers supported this campaign by donating funds. Total donations collected are $50,000 through the Executive Hotels & Resorts Campaign for NICU and the Sayani family matched the funds, dollar for dollar.
